The property has been extended over the years taking on a comfortable & lived in appearance with many places in which to walk, relax or talk. All five apartments and four double bedrooms are accessed from the garden via an arcade of climbing plants.

Nello, Nadia, and their three children Cecilia, Corrado and Caterina, live in this large house. They welcome guests and are available with advice and suggestions to help you get to know the area better.

Often, they will organize BBQs at the property or guided trips round the area.

The name “Prile” was chosen to invoke the memory of the lake upon which the Etruscan cities of Vetulonia and Roselle arose, with their commercial ports. Today all that remains of the lake is a vast marsh; this stunning protected area is called Diaccia Botrona.

It is only a short distance from the Agriturismo & is accessed, for scenic tours and its breath-taking landscape, by the provincial road, as are Castiglione della Pescaia & the island of Clodia. There is a multimedia museum, which uses video cameras hidden in cane thickets, allowing you to learn about the numerous species of indigenous fauna.
